Located in the seaside of Gosier by a large and thin sandy beach, this hotel with seaview is recommanded for people who like water sports.
Situation
The Hotel Salako is located on Gosier most beautiful beach. It was rebuilt in 1997, and located within walking distance from the casino (200 m). The Marina is 5 minutes walk. Pointe à Pitre and the Pole Caraibe airport is close by too.
There are many restaurants, shops, boutiques, right next to the hotel.
Accommodation
The hotel is a 6 storey building with an ocean view, 120 rooms and a panoramic suite (45 m² or 484 sq.ft).
A second building, accessible through the garden, holds the reception desk, hall and guest areas.
All rooms face the sea and are fully equipped. Room dimensions: 23 m² (247 sq.ft) plus a 3.5 m² (37 sq.ft) balcony. They are all equipped with individual air conditioning (Split system), refrigerator, safe, cable TV (20 channels), telephone, bathroom, hair-dryer and beach towels (deposit required).
Restaurants & Bars
The "Le Saintois" restaurant offers a selection of french and creole cuisine, à la carte or in theme-buffets. For breakfast we propose American buffets.
Snack bar "La Romana", located on the beach, is open every day from 10 am to 5 pm and offers salads, pizzas, sandwiches and cold drinks.
"Le Saintois" bar, next to the restaurant and facing the ocean, invites you to discover the wonderful cocktails, live music and evening events. Open every day form 4 pm to 11 pm.
Leisure & Sports
You are free to make use of the hotel 150 m² (1660 sq.ft) swimming pool. There is also a smaller children pool.
Other activities : windsurfing kayak, scuba diving, etc.
Furthermore, you can use the tennis courts and equipment, take free tennis classes, play a game of petanque, table tennis, pool and fitness room.
These activities require a deposit.
Finally, at your own expense, you may be part of scuba diving, mini catamaran, water-ski, windsurfing classes, boat rides, etc.
Services
You can organise your meetings in the hotels conference rooms : the Maracudja room, 306 m² (3300 sq.ft) and the Mandarine room, 63m² (678 sq.ft). In the hotel hall, you will find boutiques, a change desk and a car rental service. You can also book baby-sitting services.
Animation
The hotel organises a weekly cocktail to make you feel like at home. In the evening, local artists and the recreationn team will provide the entertainment : folkloric show, steel band, fashion show, beguine night, karaoke night, disco night.
