La Koumbala is located in a privileged spot on the upper part of Bouillante - next to the tropical forest with rivers , just 2 km away from shops and beaches, perched on a hillside overlooking the sea. Car rental is recommended.

La Koumbala offers only one bungalow for the moment with nice colours nestled in a 3 acres tropical garden.

The bungalow, well-laid out, is equipped as follow :
- A bedroom with mosquito net and fan
- A living room area with a sofa-bed (just a sofa bed in the 38 m² (422 sq.ft) bungalow)
- Fully equipped kitchenette (stove, electrical oven, coffee machine and utensils) which opens onto the terrace and tropical garden.
- Bathroom with shower, basin and toilets.

La Kombala offers a buffet meal to the guests upon reservation - Creole food served in the bungalow.

Bouillante is one of Guadeloupe most old village. This parrish includes the villages of Malendure and Pigeon, their beaches of dark sand facing the Isles of Goyaves (or Pigeon). This submarine area with great varieties of corals and tropical fish is a nature reserve (called Cousteau Reserve) and the best place to discover Guadeloupe underwater life.

Sites to visit:
*Scuba diving: several clubs offer initiations, training courses, night dives ...
*Excursion by glassbottom boats,
*Dive on board of an aquascope, a small submarine.
*Zoological and botanical garden "Deux Mamelles": on the Route de la Traversée, fauna and flora of Guadeloupe on 1 ha.
